The Ministry of Tourism and International Transport has invited Mastercard to present the Bank-in-the Box initiative to small entrepreneurs and vendors in Barbados on February 4, 2020, at 9:00 am at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Complex, Two Mile Hill, St. Michael. The Ministry is interested in implementing a project to empower vendors by leveraging the technology of smartphones or tablets to facilitate payments by cards.  It is expected that vendors and entrepreneurs can use this opportunity to make sales where customers do not have cash.  Another benefit would be that vendors would have less cash to carry as the payments…
