Barbados Welcomes New Service: Paris to Bridgetown

On Tuesday, February 21, the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. (BTMI), in conjunction with French airline Air Antilles, will host a press conference to mark the launch of a new service from Paris to Barbados. The event will be held in the Grace Adams VIP Suite of the Grantley Adams International Airport (GAIA), starting at 11:00 a.m.

The new service, which debuted on Thursday, February 16, will originate at the Paris Orly Airport in Paris, France, with one stop in Fort-de-France, Martinique, before landing in Barbados. It will return via the same route: Barbados – Martinique – Paris, every Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

On Tuesday, a special flight from Guadeloupe to Barbados via Fort-de-France will see dignitaries from Martinique, Guadeloupe and Dominica, arriving at GAIA for the event. The conference will be held under the patronage of high ranking local tourism officials: The Minister of Tourism and International Transport, Honorable Richard Sealy, as well as the Chairman and CEO of the BTMI, Alvin Jemmott and Billy Griffith respectively.
